Lisa G. Britt, DVM, MS, Diplomate ACVR

Dr. Lisa Britt graduated from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994 and then traveled to Guelph, Canada where she completed a Large Animal Internship at the Ontario Veterinary College. Her love of diagnostic imaging, which began prior to veterinary school and was fostered by great mentors at NCSU, increased further and she moved back to the United States to pursue a radiology residency at Washington State University (WSU). At the completion of her residency and Master’s degree, Lisa worked in Dallas, TX at Animal Radiology Center while her husband finished his PhD at WSU.

Dr. Britt returned to academia at the University of Missouri’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She became an ACVR diplomate in 2002. She held a faculty position at MU for 14 years and contributed to the successful training of 6 new ACVR diplomates. In addition, she was involved in research projects using multiple imaging modalities on a variety of animal species and continues to occasionally provide ultrasound imaging support for feline and bovine researchers or travels to regional small animal clinics to help them improve their ultrasound skills. Lisa’s greatest joy while in academia was the teaching of veterinary students for which she was awarded the Golden Aesculapius Teaching Award in 2012.

Dr. Britt continues to live in Columbia, MO where her husband John, is a Full Professor and ACVIM diplomate at the University of Missouri. She opened All Creatures Teleradiology, LLC in 2015 when she also joined eVet Diagnostics.  Lisa remains excited to offer consultation to a range of referring veterinarians. Lisa is a mother of two young adult children, Benjamin who attends the University of Missouri, and Jennifer who will join her brother in 2024.  the spare time she spends enjoying her many animals at Second Chance Farm or volunteering as an ambassador for Midwest Transplant Network.
