Dr. Lisa Britt graduated from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994 and then traveled to Guelph, Canada where she completed a Large Animal Internship at the Ontario Veterinary College. Her love of diagnostic imaging, which began prior to veterinary school and was fostered by great mentors at NCSU, increased further and she moved back to the United States to pursue a radiology residency at Washington State University (WSU). Dr. Britt returned to academia at the University of Missouri’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She became an ACVR diplomate in 2002. She held a faculty position at MU for 14 years and contributed to the successful training of 6 new ACVR diplomates. In addition, she was involved in research projects using multiple imaging modalities on a variety of animal species, and continues to provide imaging support for feline and bovine researchers. Lisa’s greatest joy while in academia was the teaching of veterinary students for which she was awarded the Golden Aesculapius Teaching Award in 2012.

Dr. Britt continues to live in Columbia, MO where her husband John, is a Full Professor and ACVIM diplomate at the University of Missouri. She recently opened All Creatures Teleradiology, LLC and joins eVet Diagnostics excited to offer consultation to a range of referring veterinarians.
