Dr. Park received his BS degree in Animal Science from Utah State University in 1965, his DVM from Colorado State University in 1968 and a PhD from the University of California, Davis in 1971 where he also completed his residency. He was certified by the American College of Veterinary Radiology in 1971.

Dr. Park was an Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois and the University of California Davis before joining the faculty at Colorado State University as an Associate Professor. He was on the faculty in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital at Colorado State University for 37 years and is now Professor Emeritus at Colorado State University.  Dr. Park served as Head of the Diagnostic Imaging Section in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital for approximately 25 years facilitating the development of Ultrasound, Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging with complete development of a PACS and RIS (digital imaging system) throughout the hospital. Dr. Park has interests in radiology of small and large animals, CT and MRI and has several published papers on orthopedic imaging. He has published over 120 scientific papers and has also written several book chapters on small and large animal imaging. Dr. Park is proud of the many veterinary students and radiology residents he has had the opportunity to teach and for their accomplishments in their professions.

He enjoys his family and being in the outdoor environment of Colorado.
